OF Ronald Acuna Jr. went 3-for-3 with a home run and a pair of RBIs for the Braves (88-61), who improved to 51-26 at home.
Thirty year old right-hander Grant Holmes (9-5 3.46 ERA) has been on a hot streak. The Braves have won three of Holmes’ previous four starts and he has allowed just three runs across his last 20 frames. Holmes ranks 85th in the majors with 110 strikeouts this season.
