Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles have split their previous ten games and are just two games out of third place in the American League Wild Card standings. During Saturday’s home loss, Baltimore batters managed just three hits and left eight men on base. SP Shane Baz (4-10) gave up one run across six plus innings and was the hard-luck loser for the Orioles (54-57), who fell to 30-28 at home.

The Orioles will counter with twenty-nine year old righty Kyle Bradish (7-9 3.74 ERA) in the series finale. Baltimore has won Bradish’s previous three starts and he has allowed seven runs across his last 17 plus frames. For the year, Bradish ranks 35th in the majors with 114 strikeouts in 118 innings.
