During yesterday’s home victory, All-Star SS Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored to spark the Kansas City offense. SP Luinder Avila (4-3) allowed one run in five innings to earn the win for the Royals (36-54), who improved to 20-26 at home.

The Royals will counter with twenty-six year old left-hander Noah Cameron (4-6 4.95 ERA) in the series finale. Last time out, Cameron (3.2 IP) was knocked around for nine hits and six runs during a 10-4 home loss versus Tampa Bay.
