Kyle Stowers leads Miami in both home runs with 75 and RBI with 73, but is on the injured list and not expected back until late next week. Agustin Ramirez has hit the second most home runs with 19, while Otto Lopez is second in RBI with 66. Miami struggles on the mound, as the Marlins are 20th in WHIP at 1.31 and 27th in ERA at 4.7.

Philadelphia will send Cristopher Sanchez to the mound on Friday to face Miami. The left-hander is 11-5 with a 2.66 ERA, 181 strikeouts, and 1.12 WHIP. Sanchez has pitched well in two of his last three. In one meeting earlier this season versus Miami, Sanchez held the Marlins to one run on five hits in eight innings with Philadelphia winning 2-1.
