Baltimore Orioles Preview
Baltimore turns to Tyler Wells, who went 5.0 solid innings (3.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP) in his lone outing. While the Orioles’ overall pitching numbers are shakier (4.65 ERA, .262 OBA), Wells’ command fits well against a Pittsburgh order that has struggled of late. If Wells can remain in the game through the fifth or sixth inning, Baltimore will have an opportunity against the Pirates’ bullpen.

Baltimore has struggled to produce well at the plate, with Gunnar Henderson carrying a .274/.347/.448 line and 61 RBI, and Jackson Holliday adding 17 homers and 53 RBI. Recent results have been better, with wins in three of five, and several clutch hits from the middle of the order. Even with an average home record, this lineup can take advantage of any pitcher’s mistake.
