Blue Jays Preview

The Toronto Blue Jays have won three straight games and are a distant third place in the AL East Division standings. During Friday’s home victory, Toronto took the lead for good on a Youhendrick Pinango two-run double that scored Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Daulton Varsho. SP Kevin Gausman (4-3) allowed one run across six plus solid frames to earn the win for the Blue Jays (24-27), who improved to 14-11 at home.

Thirty-six year old southpaw Patrick Corbin (1-1 4.23 ERA) has surprisingly provided quality innings for the Blue Jays. In his last start, Corbin (4 IP) gave up six hits and three runs during a 7-6 road loss against New York.
