The Cincinnati Reds have split their first ten home games and were eliminated in the NL Wild Card series a season ago. During last night’s home victory, OF Spencer Steer and 1B Sal Stewart each went deep to provide the Cincinnati offense. SP Brady Singer (1-1) limited the Giants to one run in six innings to earn the win for the Reds.

Twenty-four year old righty Rhett Lowder (1-1 3.31 ERA) will make his tenth career major league start for the Reds. Through 47 innings, Lowder has limited opponents to just one home run but has issued 20 free passes.
