SS Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a home run out of the leadoff spot.
Rookie left-hander Zac Thornton (3-4 2.93 ERA) will make his 12th career major league start for the Mets. In his last start, Thornton (5 IP) allowed two runs and retired five batters by strikes during a 6-3 home loss versus Houston.
