Brewers Preview

The Milwaukee Brewers have won seven of their last ten games and are sitting atop the division standings. On Sunday, Milwaukee batters failed to record an extra base hit and DH Jake Bauers scored the only run during a 5-1 home loss versus Los Angeles. SP Brandon Sproat (1-3) gave up three runs in four innings and took the loss for the Brewers (30-20), who fell to 16-11 at home.

Twenty-four year old righty Jacob Misiorowski (4-2 1.89 ERA) could challenge for a Cy Young Award this season for the Brewers. Through 57 innings of work, Misiorowski leads the majors with 88 strikeouts and sports a miniscule 0.88 WHIP.
