On Saturday, Baltimore walked it off on a Dylan Beavers double that scored Leodys Taveras with the winning run. Pinch-hitter Samuel Bassalo evened the score for the Orioles (63-67) with an eight-inning two-run shot.
Twenty-seven year old righty Shane Baz (4-13 4.02 ERA) has pitched better than his record would indicate for the Orioles. Last time out, Baz (6.1 IP) gave up three runs and retired ten batters by strikes during a 3-1 home loss versus New York.
