Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles have split their previous ten games and are trapped in the AL East Division basement. During Wednesday’s home loss, Baltimore managed just three hits and committed a pair of errors. SP Tyler Wells (2-1) gave up three runs in four innings and took the loss for the Orioles (74-84), who fell to 38-42 at home.

The Orioles will counter with twenty-five year old southpaw Cade Povich (3-8 5.06 ERA) on Thursday. In his last start, Povich (5 IP) gave up three runs and struck out five batters during a 7-0 home loss versus New York.
