The Arizona Diamondbacks are two games above .500 at home and have less than a one percent chance of qualifying for the postseason. During Tuesday’s home victory, Arizona DH Ketel Marte broke a seventh inning deadlock with a three-run blast. Blaze Alexander added a pair of hits and drove in a run for the Diamondbacks (69-71).

Thirty year old right-hander Zac Gallen (10-13 4.94 ERA) has been inconsistent for the Diamondbacks this season. Through 162 innings of work, Gallen has surrendered 26 long balls and owns a 1.30 WHIP.
