Twenty-seven year old southpaw MacKenzie Gore (5-6 4.05 ERA) will head to the hill for the Rangers in this contest. Last time out, Gore (7 IP) allowed four hits and three runs during a 6-5 road victory against Toronto.

Guardians Preview

The Cleveland Guardians have dropped six of their previous ten games and trail Chicago by two full games for AL Central Division supremacy. During Tuesday’s home loss, Cleveland jumped out to an early lead on a two-run bomb by Kyle Manzardo. SP Tyler Bibee (2-9) lasted seven innings and was the hard-luck loser for the Guardians (44-42), who fell to 21-20 at home.

Cleveland skipper Terry Francona will turn to twenty-six year old lefty Joey Cantillo (6-3 3,87 ERA) on Wednesday. In his last start, Cantillo (6 IP) gave up one run and retired nine batters by strikes during a 3-1 home loss versus Seattle.
