Twenty-six year old righty Kumar Rocker (2-6 4.14 ERA) will take the mound for the Rangers in this matchup. In his last start, Rocker (5 IP) allowed two runs and struck out nine batters during a 4-3 road victory against Miami.

Blue Jays Preview

The Toronto Blue Jays are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are a disappointing 9.5 games out of first place in the AL East Division. During Friday’s home loss, Toronto batters went 2-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Kazuma Okamoto each drove in a pair of runs for the Blue Jays (39-43), who fell to 22-22 at home.

Thirty year old right-hander Dylan Cease (4-3 2.75 ERA) is making a pretty strong case to make his first All-Star Game appearance. In his first season in Toronto, Cease (78.2 IP) ranks third in the majors with 118 strikeouts and sports a 1.19 WHIP.
