Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles are three games above .500 at home and are languishing in fourth place in the division standings. During Thursday’s home loss, Baltimore batters went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left seven men on base. 3B Coby Mayo hit his sixth home run of the year in a losing effort for the Orioles (26-31).

Baltimore manager Craig Albernaz will give the nod to struggling southpaw Trevor Rogers (2-6 6.96 ERA) on Friday. The Orioles are winless the last five times Rogers has been on the mound and he has surrendered 25 earned runs across his previous 19 frames.
