Thirty-six year old southpaw Patrick Corbin (2-1 3.86 ERA) will take the mound for the Blue Jays in this matchup. In his last start, Corbin (6 IP) allowed one run and struck out seven batters during a 5-2 home victory versus Pittsburgh.

Orioles Preview

The Baltimore Orioles are fresh off a three-game sweep of division leading Tampa Bay and scored 26 runs in the series. Last night, All-Star SS Gunnar Henderson started the scoring for Baltimore in the opening frame with a two-run blast and added a solo shot during a dominant 11-2 home victory. Blaze Alexander fell a triple short of the cycle and drove in six runs for the Orioles (26-30), who improved to 17-13 at home.

Baltimore manager Craig Albernaz will give the nod to veteran right-hander Chris Bassitt (4-3 5.51 ERA) in the series opener. Last time out, Bassitt (4.1 IP) gave up six hits and three runs during a 7-4 home victory versus Detroit.
