In the series opener, Yesavage (4 IP) allowed two runs and retired five batters by strikes during an 11-4 home victory. Through 19 innings this postseason, Yesagave has struck out 27 batters.

Dodgers Preview

The Los Angeles Dodgers won 52 of 81 home games during the regular season and are looking to win their third World Series title in the last six years. During last night’s home loss, Los Angeles batters managed just five hits and left six men on base. SP Shohei Ohtani gave up four runs in six innings and took the loss for the Dodgers. Ohtani went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts at the plate.

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts will counter with two-time Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell (5-4 2.35 ERA) on Wednesday. Through 26 innings this postseason, Snell has limited the opposition to one long ball and fanned 32 batters.
