During Tuesday’s home loss, San Francisco leadoff hitter Heliot Ramos went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored. SP Trevor McDonald (3-7) was shelled for eight runs and recorded just seven outs in a losing effort for the Giants (38-53), who fell to 19-23 at home.
The Giants will counter with twenty-nine year old righty Logan Webb (5-6 3.66 ERA) in the series finale. Last time out, Webb (3 IP) was roughed up for 11 hits and seven runs during a 15-3 road loss against Colorado.
