Braves Preview

Despite reeling off ten straight victories, the Atlanta Braves have been eliminated from postseason contention. During Tuesday’s home victory, Michael Harris II and Ronald Acuna Jr. crushed solo shots to center field to power the Atlanta offense. SP Hurston Waldrep (6-1) limited the Nationals to one run across six solid frames to earn the win for the Braves (75-83), who improved to 38-39 at home.

The Braves will counter with twenty-six year old righty Bryce Elder (8-10 5.36 ERA) in the series finale. In his last start, Elder (7 IP) allowed one run and struck out six batters during a 10-1 road triumph against Detroit.
