Twenty-seven year old righty Cade Cavalli (2-1 4.85 ERA) will make his seventh start of the year for the Nationals. Last time out, Cavalli (5 IP) allowed two runs and fanned six batters during a 5-2 home victory versus Miami.

Marlins Preview

The Miami Marlins are seven games below .500 at home and are sitting in third place in the NL East Division standings. On Sunday, 2B Otto Lopez homered twice and drove in four runs to power Miami to a 5-4 home victory versus Philadelphia. 3B Maximo Acosta added an RBI single for the Marlins, who improved to 66-77 overall.

Twenty-nine year old righty Janson Junk (6-2 4.09 ERA) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start for the Marlins. Junk, who has been dealing with an elbow issue, owns a career-best 1.13 WHIP through 88 innings this season.
