Atlanta C Kristaps Porzingis led all scorers with 27 points on an 11-for-17 shooting performance. Jalen Johnson scored 25 points on 11-for-18 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. All-Star G Trae Young added 21 points (7-22 FG) and 17 assists for the Hawks, who shot 50 percent from the field.

Nets Preview

The Brooklyn Nets feature one of the youngest rosters in the NBA and have surrendered 130 plus points in three of their first four games. The Nets (0-4) rank last in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 130.5 points per contest. On Monday, Brooklyn trailed by 17 points after one quarter and allowed Houston to shoot a sizzling 58 percent from the field during a 137-109 road loss.

Brooklyn F Terance Mann tallied a team-high 21 points on 8-for-11 shooting and pulled down six boards. Michael Porter Jr. scored 18 points on 8-for-13 from the floor in 28 minutes of action. Day’Ron Sharpe added 17 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Nets.
