The Hawks (40-32) have won nine of their last ten games and trail Toronto by a half-game for fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Atlanta connected on 25-for-54 three-point attempts and shot 53 percent overall during a dominant 146-107 home victory versus Detroit.

Atlanta G Nickeil Alexander-Walker matched a game-high with 26 points on 8-for-11 shooting and dished out six assists. Onyeka Okongwu and Jonathan Kuminga scored 16 points each. Veteran G C.J. McCollum added 15 points and nine assists for the Hawks, who improved to 21-16 at home.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won 28 of their first 36 home games and own a five-game cushion for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons (52-19) rank second second in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting opponents to 109.5 points per contest. On Monday, Detroit converted 22-of-24 free-throw attempts to earn a 113-110 home victory versus Los Angeles.

Detroit G Daniss Jenkins tallied a team-high 30 points (11-18 FG), eight assists, and four rebounds. All-Star C Jalen Duren contributed 20 points (10-10 FT) and 11 rebounds. Tobias Harris added 14 points (5-14 FG) and seven rebounds for the Pistons, who nailed 11-for-26 from long distance.
