Last night, Atlanta was outscored by 20 points during the second half of a 134-133 home loss versus Denver.

Atlanta G Nickeil Alexander-Walker tallied a team-high 30 points on 10-for-17 shooting and pulled down five boards. Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points (9-13 FG) in just 20 minutes off the bench. Jalen Johnson added 21 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists for the Hawks.

The Washington Wizards have dropped eight of their first ten home games and own the worst overall record in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards (3-18) rank last in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering an alarming 128.1 points per contest. On Thursday, Washington was outscored by 38 points during the second half of a 146-101 home loss versus Boston.

Veteran G C.J. McCollum led four Washington players in double figures with 22 points on 7-for-15 shooting. Khris Middleton added 16 points (7-12 FG) and four assists for the Wizards, who turned the ball over 18 times.
