All-Star G Jaylen Brown and F Jayson Tatum led five Boston players in double figures with 25 points each on a combined 18-for-33 shooting performance. Payton Pritchard scored 15 points (5-10 3PT) in 33 minutes off the bench. Nikola Vucevic added 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists for the Celtics.

76ers Preview

The Philadelphia 76ers were decimated by injuries this season and are seeking their first appearance in the conference finals since 2001. The seventh-seeded 76ers (1-2) stole Game Two on the road and averaged a shade below 116 points per contest during the regular season. During Friday’s home loss, Philadelphia outscored the 76ers 42-26 in the paint and shot 44 percent from the field.

All-Star G Tyrese Maxey tallied a game-high 31 points (12-31 FG), six assists, and four rebounds. Philadelphia F Paul George scored 18 points on 7-for-14 shooting and dished out five assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. added 17 points (6-12 FG) and six boards for the 76ers.
