On Friday, Boston connected on 20-for-39 from long range and shot a sizzling 57 percent overall during a 140-122 road triumph against Indiana.

All-Star G Jaylen Brown tallied a game-high 30 points (13-20 FG), four assists, and four steals. Boston G Payton Pritchard contributed 29 points on 10-for-17 shooting and secured nine rebounds. Sam Hauser converted 7-of-8 three-point attempts and finished with 23 points off the bench for the Celtics.

Trail Blazers Preview

The Portland Trail Blazers have dropped nine of their first 14 home games and are clinging to a half-game lead for tenth place in the Western Conference standings. The Trail Blazers (12-19) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 120.5 points per contest. On Friday, Portland was outscored by 22 points during the second half of a 119-103 home loss versus LA.

Deni Avdija led five Portland players in double figures with 29 points (10-18 FG) to go along with nine rebounds, and nine assists. Toumani Camara knocked down 5-for-11 from beyond the arc and finished with 20 points. Shadeon Sharpe added 16 points and four rebounds for the Trail Blazers.
