On Tuesday, Brooklyn trailed by 33 points at halftime and allowed Detroit to shoot 56 percent from the field during an ugly 138-100 home loss.

Michael Porter Jr. led five Brooklyn players in double figures with 19 points and finished with a minus 31 rating. Jalen Wilson scored 14 points (3-8 3PT) in 25 minutes off the bench. Rookie F Danny Wolf added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Nets, who fell to 9-23 at home.

The Atlanta Hawks are riding a seven-game winning streak and are just 2.5 games out of sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (34-31) rank in the middle of the pack in defensive efficiency and are giving up 117.2 points per contest. On Tuesday, Atlanta connected on 14-for-36 from long range and shot 52 percent overall during a 124-112 home victory versus Dallas.

Atlanta G Nickeil Alexander-Walker led all scorers with 29 points on 12-for-19 shooting and finished with a plus 19 rating. All-Star F Jalen Johnson contributed 27 points (10-18 FG), eight assists, and seven rebounds. Onyeka Okongwu added 18 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks for the Hawks.
