The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and the Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center. The Nets (26-56) ranked near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are hopeful that a class of five first round draft picks can get things headed in the right direction for second-year head coach Jordi Fernandez. If LaMelo Ball stays healthy, Charlotte could challenge for a playoff spot. The team lost 32 of 35 games in which Ball did not suit up for a season ago.

Former number two overall draft pick Brandon Miller missed the final three months of last year and has proven to be an adequate number two scoring option. Athletic F Miles Bridges and newly acquired G Collin Sexton make the Hornets a team to keep an eye on to start the 2025-2026 campaign.
