The Sunday NBA schedule will get underway with a matinee between the Brooklyn Nets and the San Antonio Spurs from the Frost Bank Center. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Nets (0-2) feature one of the youngest rosters in the NBA and have surrendered 130 plus points in their first two contests. On Friday, Brooklyn turned the ball over 20 times and trailed by as many as 25 points during a 131-124 home loss versus Cleveland.

Brooklyn G Cam Thomas tallied a team-high 33 points on 12-for-24 shooting and dished out nine assists. Michael Porter Jr. nailed half of his ten three-point attempts and finished with 31 points. Ziaire Williams added 25 points in 27 minutes off the bench for the Nets.

Spurs Preview

The San Antonio Spurs are looking to snap a six-year playoff drought and will go as far as former number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama can take them. The Spurs (2-0) currently lead the league in defensive efficiency and limited Dallas to 92 points in the season opener. On Friday, San Antonio needed overtime to escape New Orleans with a 120-116 road victory.

Victor Wembanyama led all scorers with 29 points (13-23 FG) to go along with 11 rebounds and nine blocks. San Antonio G Devin Vassell chipped in 23 points (6-14 3 PT) and five boards. Stephon Castle added 16 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Spurs.
