On Sunday, Charlotte erupted for 88 points during the second half of a 139-113 road triumph against Charlotte.

Charlotte G LaMelo Ball poured in a game-high 38 points (13-25 FG) to go along with 13 rebounds and 13 assists. Miles Bridges converted 9-for-10 from the charity stripe and finished with 22 points. Rookie G Kon Knueppel added 20 points and six boards for the Hornets, who knocked down 15-for-38 from the three-point line.

Heat Preview

The Miami Heat dealt G/F Jimmy Butler to Golden State at least season’s trade deadline and entered the 2025-2026 campaign as a team in transition. The Heat (2-1) rank fifth in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting the opposition to 115.3 points per contest. On Sunday, Miami held New York to 39 percent shooting during a 115-107 home victory.

Miami G Norman Powell tallied a team-high 29 points (12-12 FG) and seven rebounds. Bam Adebayo contributed 19 points (5-15 FG) and 13 rebounds. Jaime Jacquez Jr. added 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists off the Heat bench.
