Rookie G Kon Knueppel led six Charlotte players in double figures with 18 points (7-18 FG) and six rebounds. Collin Sexton scored 15 points on 5-for-10 shooting in just 19 minutes off the bench. LaMelo Ball added 12 points and 14 assists for the Hornets, who turned the ball over 16 times.

The Knicks (13-7) rank third in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 120.4 points per contest. New York G Mikal Bridges nailed 8-for-12 from long distance and finished with a team-high 35 points. All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns scored 29 points on 12-for-20 shooting and secured seven rebounds. Josh Hart added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, who shot 51 percent from the field.
