On Tuesday, Charlotte committed just five turnovers and outscored Washington by 20 points in the second half to earn a 126-109 home victory.

Charlotte G LaMelo Ball led all scorers with 23 points on 7-for-12 shooting and dropped nine dimes. Brandon Miller knocked down 4-for-10 from long distance and finished with 20 points. Rookie G Kon Knueppel added 19 points for the Hornets, who connected on 20-for-50 from the three-point line.

The Orlando Magic have won ten of their first 14 home games and are a half-game out of fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Magic (17-13) rank eighth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 115 points per contest. On Tuesday, Orlando nailed 15-for-33 from behind the arc during a 110-106 road victory against Portland.

All five Orlando starters scored in double figures and were led by Desmond Bane with 23 points (7-7 FT). Anthony Black contributed 22 points (8-21 FG), seven rebounds, and six assists. Tyus Jones added 16 points and seven assists for the Magic, who converted 21 of 23 free-throw attempts.
