Bulls Preview

In Thursday night NBA action, the Chicago Bulls and the Washington Wizards will square off in a rematch from the nation’s capital. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Bulls (30-49) have dropped eight of their previous ten games and made the decision to start rebuilding at the NBA trade deadline. On Tuesday, Chicago raced out to a 20-point lead after one quarter and shot 49 percent from the field during a 129-98 road triumph against Washington.

Rob Dillingham led all scorers with 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting in 27 minutes off the Chicago bench. Patrick Williams and Tre Jones scored 20 points each on a combined 14-for-23 from the floor. Collin Sexton added 15 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists for the Bulls.

Wizards Preview

Washington Wizards are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (17-62) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 124.7 points per contest. During Tuesday’s home loss, Washington committed 21 turnovers and missed 27 of 38 three-point attempts.

Bilal Coulibaly led five Washington players in double figures with 19 points (7-10 FG) and three rebounds. Rookie F Julian Reese scored 17 points (8-14 FG) to go along with 11 rebounds and two blocks. Bub Carrington added 14 points and seven assists for the Wizards, who fell to 11-28 at home.

Bulls vs Wizards Pick

Chicago G Josh Giddey (hamstring) and F Matas Buzelis (illness) will remain sidelined for this game. These two teams rank in the top eight in tempo and the bottom eight of the league in defensive efficiency. Look for the Bulls to win on the road in a game that soars over the total. Final Score Prediction, Chicago Bulls win 128-120.
