Nets Preview
The Brooklyn Nets enter the 2025-2026 campaign as the third youngest team in the NBA and have won just one playoff series over the last decade. The Nets (0-1) want to play an uptempo style for second year head coach Jordi Fernandez, but must improve an offense that ranked near the bottom of the league in efficiency. On Wednesday, Brooklyn surrendered 77 points during the first half of a 136-117 road loss against Charlotte.
Nic Claxton led six Brooklyn players in double figures with 17 points and four boards in 23 minutes of action. Cam Thomas converted 11 of 13 free-throw attempts and finished with 15 points. Rookie G Egor Demin added 14 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Nets.
