Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Semifinals will take place on Sunday afternoon, when the Cleveland Cavaliers battle the Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena. The fourth-seeded Cavaliers have dropped five of their first six road playoff games and have not reached the conference finals since LeBron James bolted for Miami. In Game Six, Cleveland committed 20 turnovers and shot just 39 percent from the field during a 115-94 home loss.

All-Star G James Harden led all scorers with 23 points on 6-for-13 shooting but coughed the ball up eight times. All-Star G Donovan Mitchell and F Evan Mobley scored 18 points each on a combined 12-for-34 from the floor. C Jarrett Allen added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Cavaliers.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won five of their seven home games this postseason and are looking to advance to the conference finals for the first time since 2008. The top-seeded Pistons ranked third in the league in defensive efficiency during the regular season and are slightly better on that end of the floor in the playoffs. During Friday’s road victory, Detroit knocked down 16-for-36 from long distance and shot 52 percent overall.

Former number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham led a balanced Detroit scoring attack with 21 points (5-10 3PT) and eight assists. Paul Reed contributed 17 points and six rebounds in just 16 minutes off the bench. All-Star C Jalen Duren and G Daniss Jenkins added 15 points apiece for the Pistons.
