In Thursday night NBA playoff action, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Detroit Pistons will square off in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals from Little Caesars Arena. In the series opener, Cleveland committed 19 turnovers during a 111-101 road loss.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell knocked down 4-for-10 from long distance and matched a game-high with 23 points. All-Star G James Harden scored 22 points (9-9 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Max Strus added 19 points (4-8 3PT) and five boards in 28 minutes off the bench for the Cavaliers.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won three of their first four home playoff tilts and are looking to advance to the conference finals for the first time since 2008. The top-seeded Pistons (1-0) ranked second in the league in defensive efficiency and limited opponents to 109.6 points per contest. During Tuesday’s home victory, Detroit raced out to a 37-21 lead after one quarter and scored 31 points off turnovers.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham led five Detroit players in double figures with 23 points (6-19 FG) and seven assists. Detroit F Tobias Harris chipped in 20 points (7-8 FT) and eight rebounds. Duncan Robinson added 19 points (5-8 3PT) for the Pistons, who converted 27 of 35 free-throw attempts.
