The World’s Most Famous Arena will be rocking on Tuesday night, when the Cleveland Cavaliers battle the New York Knicks in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals. On Sunday, Cleveland assisted on 31 of 43 made field goals and shot 51 percent overall during a dominant 125-94 road victory against Detroit.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell tallied a game-high 26 points (10-22 FG), eight assists, and six rebounds. Sam Merrill and Jarrett Allen scored 23 points each on a combined 15-for-24 shooting effort. Evan Mobley added 21 points (7-10 FG), 12 rebounds, and six assists for the Cavaliers.

Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks have won four of their first five playoff home games and are in search of their first NBA Championship since 1973. The third-seeded Knicks appear well equipped to breakthrough for first year head coach Mike Brown, ranking second this postseason in offensive and defensive efficiency. Last time out, New York connected on an astonishing 25-for-44 from long distance and led by as many as 44 points during a 144-114 road triumph against Philadelphia.

New York G Miles McBride started in place of injured F OG Anunoby and led all scorers with 25 points (7-9 3PT). All-Star G Jalen Brunson chipped in 22 points (6-10 3PT) and six assists. Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart added 17 points apiece for the Knicks, who pummeled the 76ers on the glass by a 47-30 margin.
