In Game Five, Cleveland knocked down half of their 36 long distance attempts and shot 53 percent overall during a 125-120 home victory.

All-Star G James Harden and F Evan Mobley led Cleveland with 23 points apiece on a combined 15-for-26 shooting effort. All-Star G Donovan Mitchell chipped in 19 points (7-17 FG) and five rebounds. Dennis Schroder added 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in 21 minutes off the bench for the Cavaliers.

Raptors Preview

The Toronto Raptors finished seven games above .500 at home and have managed to hold serve on their home floor in this best-of-seven series. The fifth-seeded Raptors (2-3) ranked fifth in the league in defensive efficiency and are trying to win their first playoff series since 2020. During Wednesday’s road loss, Toronto assisted on 32 of 44 made field goals and was outscored 25-17 in the fourth quarter.

Toronto G/F R.J. Barrett tallied a game-high 25 points (9-19 FG), 12 rebounds, and five assists. Ja’Kobe Walter connected on 6-of-14 from the three-point line and finished with 20 points. All-Star F Scottie Barnes added 17 points (6-16 FG), 11 assists, and eight rebounds for the Raptors.
