The fifth-seeded Raptors (2-3) ranked fifth in the league in defensive efficiency and are trying to win their first playoff series since 2020. During Wednesday’s road loss, Toronto assisted on 32 of 44 made field goals and was outscored 25-17 in the fourth quarter.
Toronto G/F R.J. Barrett tallied a game-high 25 points (9-19 FG), 12 rebounds, and five assists. Ja’Kobe Walter connected on 6-of-14 from the three-point line and finished with 20 points. All-Star F Scottie Barnes added 17 points (6-16 FG), 11 assists, and eight rebounds for the Raptors.
