The Sunday NBA playoff schedule will get underway with a matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors from Scotiabank Arena. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The fourth-seeded Cavaliers (2-1) finished nine games above .500 on the road and are seeking their first conference finals appearance in almost a decade. In Game Three, Cleveland committed 20 turnovers during a 125-104 road loss against Toronto.

All-Star G James Harden led five Cleveland players in double figures with 18 points (3-10 3PT) and four assists. Evan Mobley scored 15 points (4-13 FG) to go along with seven assists and six rebounds. All-Star G Donovan Mitchell added 15 points and five rebounds for the Cavaliers, who missed 31 of 45 three-point attempts.

Raptors Preview

The Toronto Raptors increased their win total by 16 over last year and are trying to win their first playoff series since 2020. The fifth-seeded Raptors (1-2) ranked fifth in the league in defensive efficiency and allowed 111.8 points per contest. During Thursday’s home victory, Toronto outscored Cleveland 43-23 over the final 12 minutes.

All-Star F Scottie Barnes and G/F R.J. Barrett led all scorers with 33 points apiece on a combined 23-for-36 shooting effort. Collin Murray-Boyles contributed 22 points (11-15 FG) and eight rebounds. Jamison Battle added 14 points in 16 minutes off the bench for the Raptors.
