The Tuesday NBA schedule will get underway with a matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and the Brooklyn Nets from the Barclays Center. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Mavericks (20-36) have dropped 19 of their first 25 road games and are committed to rebuilding around number one overall draft pick Cooper Flagg. On Sunday, Dallas shot 54 percent from the field during a 134-130 road victory against Indiana.

Veteran G/F Khris Middleton tallied a team-high 25 points (11-15 FG), seven rebounds, and seven assists. Dallas F P.J. Washington chipped in 23 points (8-14 FG) and nine boards. Marvin Bagley III added 12 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Mavericks.

Nets Preview

The Brooklyn Nets are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are experiencing plenty of growing pains with the youngest roster in the NBA. The Nets (15-41) rank last in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring a measly 106.8 points per contest. On Saturday, Brooklyn managed just two points over the final eight minutes of a 115-104 road loss against Atlanta.

Michael Porter Jr. led six Brooklyn players in double figures with 18 points (8-19 FG) and seven rebounds. Nic Claxton scored 15 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. Rookie G Egor Demin added 13 points and four assists for the Nets, who were dominated on the glass by a 52-34 margin.
