The Mavericks (21-39) have dropped eight of their previous ten games and have fallen out of playoff contention in the Western Conference. On Sunday, Dallas turned the ball over 17 times and shot an ice cold 39 percent from the field during a 100-87 home loss versus Oklahoma City.

Caleb Marin led three Dallas players in double figures with 18 points (3-5 3 PT) and three rebounds. Brandon Williams and Max Christie scored 14 points each on a combined 10-for-23 shooting effort. Dwight Powell added nine points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Mavericks.

Hornets Preview

The Charlotte Hornets are riding a four-game winning streak and are looking to end a nine-year postseason drought. The Hornets (30-31) rank tenth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116 points per contest. On Saturday, Charlotte raced out to a 12-point lead after one quarter and never looked back during a 109-93 home victory versus Portland.

Charlotte F Brandon Miller nailed half of his 12 three-point attempts and finished with a game-high 26 points. Coby White scored 20 points (8-9 FT) in 21 minutes off the Charlotte bench. LaMelo Ball added 15 points and eight assists for the Hornets, who dominated the Trail Blazers on the glass by a 55-39 margin.
