The Mavericks (2-7) are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and be playing without injured G Kyrie Irving until January. Last night, Dallas trailed by 23 points at halftime during a 118-104 road loss against Memphis.

Max Christie led six Dallas players in double figures with 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting. Naji Marshall scored 16 points and pulled down seven boards in 25 minutes off the bench. Number one overall draft pick Cooper Flagg added 12 points and six rebounds for the Mavericks.

The Washington Wizards are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (1-8) rank second worst in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering an alarming 130.3 points per contest. Last night, Washington turned the ball over 20 times during an ugly 148-114 home loss versus Cleveland.

Veteran Washington G C.J. McCollum connected on 6-for-13 from the three-point line and finished with a game-high 25 points. Former number two overall draft pick Alex Sarr added 20 points, four rebounds, and four assists for the Wizards.
