On Thursday, Detroit assisted on 30 of 42 made field goals and shot 52 percent overall during a 126-111 road triumph against New York.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham poured in a game-high 42 points (17-34 FG) to go along with 13 assists and eight rebounds. Detroit C Paul Reed chipped in 18 points (7-9 FG) and seven rebounds. Veteran F Tobias Harris added 11 points (4-16 FG) and ten rebounds for the Pistons, who improved to 19-7 on the road.

Bulls Preview

The Chicago Bulls are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and decided to press the reset button at the NBA trade deadline. The Bulls (24-32) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 120.4 points per contest. On Thursday, Chicago missed 28 of 40 three-point attempts during a 110-101 home loss versus Toronto.

Anfernee Simons led four Chicago players in double figures with 20 points on 7-for-18 shooting and finished with a minus 21 rating. Isaac Okoro scored 16 points on 6-for-12 from the floor and pulled down five boards. Tre Jones added 12 points and six assists off the bench for the Bulls, who fell to 15-13 at home.
