In Saturday afternoon NBA playoff action, the Detroit Pistons will invade Rocket Arena to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The top-seeded Pistons (2-0) were starting at a 3-1 series deficit in the first round against Orlando, but have reeled off five straight victories. In Game Two, Detroit knocked down half of their 28 three-point attempts and shot 49 percent from the field during a 107-97 home victory.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a team-high 25 points (7-14 FG), ten assists, and two blocks. Detroit F Tobias Harris continued his stellar postseason play with 21 points (9-16 FG) and seven rebounds. Duncan Robinson added 17 points for the Pistons, who outrebounded the Cavaliers by a 42-36 margin.

Cavaliers Preview

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won four straight home games to start this postseason and have been eliminated in the conference semifinals in consecutive years. The fourth-seeded Cavaliers (0-2) ranked fifth in offensive efficiency during the regular season, but are averaging 99 points through the first two games of this series. During Thursday’s road loss, Cleveland missed 25 of 32 three-point attempts and shot just 42 percent overall.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 31 points on 11-for-24 shooting and pulled down six boards. Cleveland C Jarrett Allen scored 22 points on 7-for-9 from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds. All-Star G James Harden was limited to ten points (3-13 FG) and committed four turnovers for the Cavaliers.
