In the first game of a Thursday night NBA on Prime Video doubleheader, the Detroit Pistons will square off against the New York Knicks from Madison Square Garden. Last time out, Detroit built a 15-point halftime lead and cruised to a 113-95 road triumph against Toronto.

All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a game-high 28 points (6-11 3 PT), nine assists, and seven rebounds. Detroit C Paul Reed contributed 22 points, five rebounds, and four blocks. Veteran F Tobias Harris added 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Pistons, who outrebounded the Raptors by a 47-35 margin.

Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks have won 21 of their first 28 home games and are in search of their first NBA title since 1973. The Knicks (35-20) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 118 points per contest. Last Wednesday, New York assisted on 41 of 48 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall during a dominant 138-89 road victory against Philadelphia.

Newly acquired G Jose Alvarado led five New York players in double figures with 26 points (8-13 3 PT) in just 19 minutes off the bench. Mikal Bridges chipped in 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds. All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns added 21 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists for the Knicks.
