All-Star G Cade Cunningham led all scorers with 27 points on 11-for-19 shooting and dished out 11 assists. Detroit F Tobias Harris contributed 16 points (7-17 FG) and 11 rebounds. All-Star C Jalen Duren added 11 points and nine boards for the Magic, who dominated the Magic on the glass by a 57-42 margin.

The Orlando Magic won seven of their last ten games to close the regular season and are in search of their first playoff series victory since 2010. The eighth-seeded Magic (1-1) stunned the Pistons in the series opener with an 11-point road victory and ranked 12th in the league in defensive efficiency. During Wednesday’s road loss, Orlando missed 24 of 32 three-point attempts and shot a frigid 33 percent overall.

Orlando G Jalen Suggs tallied a team-high 19 points (7-18 FG), six rebounds, and four assists. Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero scored 18 points (7-17 FG) to go along with eight assists and six boards. Desmond Bane and Franz Wagner added 12 points each for the Magic.
