On Thursday, Golden State trailed by 20 points after one quarter during a 99-98 road loss against Philadelphia.

Pat Spencer led five Golden State players in double figures with 16 points (5-8 FG) in 24 minutes off the bench. De’Anthony Melton, Buddy Hield, and Moses Moody scored 14 points each. Quinten Post added ten points and four assists for the Warriors, who missed 30 of 42 three-point attempts.

Cavaliers Preview

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won nine of their first 14 home games and hold a half-game lead for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Cavaliers (14-10) rank tenth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 120 points per contest. Last night, Cleveland outscored San Antonio by 25 points during the third quarter of a 130-117 home victory.

All-Star G Donovan Mitchell matched a game-high 28 points on 9-for-17 shooting and dished out eight assists. Rookie G Jaylon Tyson chipped in 24 points (11-15 FG) and six boards. Evan Mobley added 17 points and ten rebounds for the Cavaliers, who shot a sizzling 58 percent from the field.
