The Warriors (33-36) have dropped eight of their previous ten games and have plummeted into tenth place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, Golden State trailed by 13 points after one quarter and missed 33 of 43 three-point attempts during a 120-99 road loss against Boston.

Gary Payton II and Pat Spencer led six Golden State players in double figures with 14 points apiece on a combined 12-for-22 shooting effort. Draymond Green scored 13 points to go along with five rebounds and five assists. Gui Santos added 13 points and five rebounds for the Warriors, who shot 40 percent from the field.

Pistons Preview

The Detroit Pistons have won 25 of their first 33 home games and hold a four-game lead over Boston for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pistons (50-19) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting opponents to 109.7 points per contest. Last night, Detroit raced out to a 21-point advantage after one quarter and coasted to a 117-95 road victory against lowly Washington.

All-Star C Jalen Duren tallied a game-high 24 points (9-15 FG), 11 rebounds, and two steals. Detroit F Duncan Robinson knocked down 4-for-9 from long distance and finished with 14 points. Caris LeVert and Kevin Huerter added 14 points apiece off the bench for the Pistons, who dominated the Wizards on the glass by a 56-35 margin.
