The Warriors (31-30) are five games below .500 on the road and are stuck in eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Golden State was unable to protect a 14-point halftime advantage during a 114-101 home loss versus LA.

Golden State G Brandin Podziemski tallied a team-high 22 points (9-18 FG) and seven rebounds. Nate Williams knocked down 3-for-4 from long distance and finished with 18 points off the bench. Veteran C Al Horford added 17 points and six boards for the Warriors, who shot just 39 percent from the field.

Rockets Preview

The Houston Rockets have won 20 of their first 27 home games and are tied for third place in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets (38-22) rank fifth in the league in defensive efficiency and are limiting opponents to 109.4 points per contest. On Monday, Houston converted 24-of-28 free-throw attempts to hold on for a 123-118 road victory against Washington.

All-Star C Alperen Sengun led all scorers with 32 points on 12-for-20 shooting and secured 13 rebounds. All-Star F Kevin Durant contributed 30 points (11-11 FT) and seven boards. Amen Thompson added 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Rockets, who pummeled the Wizards on the glass by a 59-27 margin.
