The Rockets (43-29) are a game below .500 on the road and are sitting in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, Houston surrendered the final 15 points of overtime to suffer a heartbreaking 110-108 road loss against Minnesota.

All-Stars Alperen Sengun and Kevin Durant led all scorers with 30 points each on a combined 21-for-44 shooting effort. Houston F Jabari Smith Jr. scored 16 points on 7-for-15 shooting and secured 12 boards. Amen Thompson added 11 points, ten assists, and nine rebounds for the Rockets.

Grizzlies Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and have been eliminated from postseason contention. The Grizzlies (24-48) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 119.1 points per contest. On Wednesday, Memphis trailed by 19 points after one quarter and missed 34 of 50 three-point attempts during an ugly 123-98 home loss versus San Antonio.

Memphis F GG Jackson tallied a game-high 20 points (7-15 FG), seven rebounds, and two steals. Olivier Maxence-Prosper added 17 points on 6-for-10 shooting and pulled down five boards. DeJon Jarreau scored 15 points (5-15 FG) in 15 minutes off the bench for the Grizzlies.
