Last night, Houston built a 27-point halftime advantage and never looked back during a 128-97 home victory versus lowly Sacramento.

Houston G Reed Sheppard nailed 7-for-16 from the three-point line and finished with a game-high 28 points. All-Star C Alperen Sengun contributed 26 points (9-13 FG), 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. All-Star F Kevin Durant added 21 points and five assists for the Rockets, who shot 54 percent from the field.

The Orlando Magic have won 17 of their first 26 home games and are a half-game behind Philadelphia for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Magic (31-26) rank 13th in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 114.6 points per contest. On Tuesday, Orlando assisted on 26 of 43 made field goals and shot 46 percent overall during a 110-109 road victory against Los Angeles.

Orlando F Paolo Banchero tallied a game-high 36 points (12-22 FG), ten rebounds, and six assists. Desmond Bane chipped in 22 points (9-19 FG) and six assists. Wendell Carter Jr. added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic, who outrebounded the Lakers by a 47-39 margin.
